When we made the decision to turn our old home into a vacation rental, I scoured the internet for recommendations on what kind of pillows, sheets, and furniture to buy.
I wanted high quality, yet affordable options.
And I wanted to hear from someone who’s done it, who’s tested what works.
I found bits and pieces of information, I ordered products to test them out first, and I learned the hard way not to ask in a Facebook group what kind of mattress to use. A vicious debate ensued.
With that said, here’s a running list of the products I use in my vacation rental that I will continue to use and would recommend to others!
Bedroom
Tried a few out, these don’t make all the noise the others make!
I started out with these mattresses but I’m slowly phasing out for Casper brand mattresses.
Bathroom
I put these over the tub / shower for guests to put down themselves. Easier to wash than bathroom rugs.
Common Areas
This is a recent addition, as I’ve had a few guests ask for baby gates and further, thought it would be a good idea for guests with pets.
